What is an American?

To me the word American represents someone anyone of any race who was born here in the United States. Though, there are many different parts to America. After comparing my zip to the zip provided for this assignment, I learned that they are pretty close with data. I expected this as I am right around the corner. I did however find that in my zip the male to female ratio is pretty much the same. Opposed to the zip provided where there was a significant amount of females opposed to men. In 2050, there is expected growth. However, I cannot wait to move out of this area and move back to where I am from as the schools and the population is better for my children.
